"I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people..." (Isaiah 65:19).
When, O Lord will I gladden Your heart? When will you find joy in Your Church or in Jerusalem? We find the answer in The First Epistle of St Peter as he tells us: "be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous" (1 Peter 3:8). Indeed, this is what would make You rejoice in us and in Your Church. When each of us appreciates and praises God for His gifts to us as well as for the gifts He has given to our fellow men, then we truly bring joy to God. Each gift is intended to for our enrichment. Help me, O Lord to gladden Your heart...
